Stages of Implants:
- Initial Consultation: We will evaluate your oral health, take a detailed history discussing all treatment options after viewing your X-rays, CBCT scan and bone assessment. Through these means we will make a treatment plan for you tailor made for your specific needs
- Implant placement: We place the Implant into your jaw bone. This titanium post will act as the root replacement for your missing tooth
- Healing period: Typically takes 2-3 months for the healing to be completed, this process is called ossteointegration during which the jaw bone fuses with the implant.
- Abutment placement: This is placed after the healing is completed and it will support the dental crown which will be placed on top.
- Crown placement: A custom made crown will be designed and fabricated according to your specifications. The crown will be natural looking and will have complete functionality.
- Follow up: We have a follow up to make sure everything is in order and monitor your bone health ensuring long term success of the implant
